Week 1 Results
So, that drop by Swift may have been foreshadowing for the performance of our league this weekend.
We had only one person finish in the black this weekend. They only did so because they turned their back on their team. Despicable. No preseason this year means everyone is going to be rusty. So let’s not put too much stock into anything after only one game. However, I will not complain if the Fords do the following:
Sell the team (but not to that little Gilbert goblin)
Fire the sentient pile of dirty laundry pretending to be a Head Coach
Apologize to Calvin Johnson
After only one week in Detroit, Jefe needs freeing yet again. Coincidence that Laundry Boy seems to under-appreciate great DBs? Malcolm Butler and Slay say hello.
Speaking of turmoil, Baker Mayfield might be the worst Heisman winning QB since Jason White. And guess what? They both went to Oklahoma.
Ben Roflmaoburger looked surprisingly good. Kait is the only happy fan this weekend. Congrats on having a good coach 😫.
As for the league, Kevin is picking up right where he left off from the tournament. Not only did he win the season’s first Big Huge, but he also went 6-4 with his bets! He is your Week 1 winner with $1.03! In 2nd was yours truly. Scraping by at 5-5 and losing only $0.05. In 3rd was the best A&F Manager of the league, Kait! She went 3-7 and lost $0.11. In a surprising turn of events, we had a tie for 4th! Sully and Jonny both ended with the same total! However, Chris went 3-7, losing $0.21. Jonathan went 2-8, losing only $0.11. In 6th we have Christopher. Also going 3-7 like taller Chris, Thor bet aggressively and lost $0.40. Finally, needing to renovate his house and his betting strategy, is Benj! He went 2-8, losing $0.67.
A very rough start for all of us (yes Kevin I can hear you trying to brag. Be quiet). However, things are looking up for us as we may see a safe return of B1G football sooner rather than later. Take that press release and inject it into my eyeballs.
