Sep 2 Season /// Week 1 Results

Like a majestic long horse spooked at the watering hole, Chris is off and running. A fantastic way to start the new season! The first week of Season 3 had quite a few interesting events!! Firstly, Kait isn’t bad at this?? Kevin didn’t somehow lose $5, and Christopher must have been sober when he placed his bets this week, because WOOF. The weekend showed us that Benj might not be great at something, but dammit he won’t ever give up (See water wrestling). Jonathan catches breaks like he catches fish: easily and more often than others. Kevin is doing waaaaaay better to start this season than last year. Kind of like his alma mater. Christopher is in Yikes Mode. And Chris isn’t here to play around.

Chris is your Week 1 winner!! It might be the height advantage, but Chris is out in front early! He won this week with a total of $0.58. His speech is to follow, and his prize is very special. It’s also interesting to note that while he won the bets, he is 3rd in the Overall Standings, because he was wise with his money placement, but less so with his other choices. This has never happened before where our winner isn’t also ahead of others in the Overall Standings. Will we have to tweak our system? Possibly. In the meantime, Kait and Benj tied for 2nd with $0.50! Kait had a monster inaugural weekend, and is 1st overall in the standings. Benj is off to a hot start as well. Jonathan placed 4th with $0.26. His hedging paid off yet again. Kevin finished 5th with -$0.02 but is .500 with his answers. So improving there, which is what we like to see. I came in 6th with -$0.20 (if only I was as good at this as I seem to be at Washers). And finally, Christopher had a supremely rough week and finished in 7th with -$0.99. At least you didn’t lose an entire dollar so silver lining? Yikes. Here’s to next week big guy.

Next week we’re kicking it up a notch! The games get better, the weather gets worse, and we get one weekend closer to the release of the Four Loko Seltzer. Cheers. Your visuals are below.
