Season /// Week 2 (Respect The Troops Edition)
There’s nothing more American than football, the troops, and fucking up. Michigan will be checking all 3 of these boxes this weekend as they face the Army Black Knights. They are about to respect THE FUCK outta these troops by letting them hang around, and then cruising to an easy victory 7-3. Masterful football.
Our league will not be giving out as much #Respect, but we’ll still be good. Chris won last week, and yet is only 3rd overall in the standings. It has been a wild ride already, and it’s literally been 4 days. Jonathan is definitely dialing it up a notch since his Sports Analytics class is hitting its stride. And honestly I think participating in this class (in any capacity) constitutes cheating. Christopher, you better get shitfaced real soon or you’re gonna be in a bunch of trouble. Kevin you’re good. Benj is good. And Kait keeps winning on and off the field this week. I was going to say “scoring”, but I knew she would have said something gross/funny. Speaking of funny things, I will be sharing our intro question responses each week because they are funny and I love them. Here are the Week 1 responses ranked funniest/most interesting to least funny/interesting.

As for our games this week, we have the #Respect Bowl like I previously mentioned. The™ Ohio State Buckeyes host the most sneakily dirty city in America, Cincinnati. Here’s hoping Luke Fickell doesn’t explode on the sidelines. MSU hosts the league’s most beloved team (and mascot), your Western Michigan Broncos!! Here’s to a Broncos W, and Buster Bronco finally kicking that awful percocet habit. CMU will “technically” be playing football against Wisconsin. Those 2 fan bases might have the highest BAC in the nation when they come together on Saturday. Otterbein ACTUALLY plays this week (Thanks Kait), and the most feared D2 school in the country, GVSU, has their home opener! It’s time to get serious.
