WTS Bets SZN 2 TOURNAMENT RESULTS
Another season has come and gone. This year has been a resounding success for the league and I have you guys to thank for that. The results for the tournament are finally here and we have a new champion!! It’s Christopher!! He beat me by 0.04 points to take home the trophy! The finals were a nail biter, but with one of the questions resulting in a tie for everyone, Christopher was able to maintain his lead against me and come out on top! With that, I came in 2nd place, Jonathan beat Chris for 3rd because neither of you gave an answer for the final question so Jonny stayed ahead and claimed “Best Player in Ohio.” And in the 5th place matchup Benjamin took home the win. Overall, there were definitely some surprises. Jonathan took the SEC route and said if he’s not playing for a championship then obviously the other matchups don’t matter. Chris stumbled out of the blocks and could never really recover, and Kevin stayed amazingly consistent. Is there a scheme change in Kevin’s future? We’ll find out I’m sure.
For his victory, Christopher will receive a bottle of KOVAL vodka and a championship t shirt! As for everyone else, I will also be giving out t shirts! This season has had no shortage of fun so I thought we would all enjoy having a shirt to rep the league during the offseason. The shirts will be arriving at some point in the next few weeks, so I’ll keep all of you posted. Before I order them, I will need everyone’s sizes for a long sleeve shirt. Cuz there’s no fucking way I’m guessing what size you fit into with those gangly ass arms, Chris. I want everyone to have the right size.
Moving into the offseason, I will post reports, Power Rankings, and other blog posts occasionally to keep the league somewhat active while we prep for Season III. If any of y’all have recommendations on other things that we can introduce to the league, I would love to know. Also, any feedback on our current system is appreciated. I hope you guys had as much fun this year as I did. Thanks to Kevin and Chris for joining this year and providing some new energy to the league! I’m already pumped for what next year has to offer, and how new strategies will emerge! As always, thanks for playing, and I’ll see y’all in the Fall.
