WTS Bets SZN 2 TOURNAMENT
This is it men. The time when players either turn to legends or goats (not the good kind). Playoff time. Bring your guns, because it’s going to be a shootout. I know we have a 12 gauge somewhere. Young Simba and Zone 6 take on Washington in *extremely Brent Musburger voice* The Granddaddy of Them All. We will surely miss our leader, Urban Meyer, after this game. RIP Urbs, thanks for the memories. However, a new day is here. I’m excited. Michigan takes on Florida in the annual “Why are We Playing These Guys Again” Bowl. And Michigan State is going to try to score at least one TD in the Redbox (??) Bowl. Shoutout Western for making the Potato Bowl too lmao. Also, our tournament is here!! Jonathan clinched the regular season title again, and also secured a 1st Round bye. Chris overtook Christopher juuuuust enough to claim #2 overall for the regular season, also securing a 1st Round bye. The 1st Round of the tourney starts with the beginning of Bowl Season! The questions will relate to certain bowls, and matchups will last over a span of a few days. The matchups are as such:
With the #6 spot, Kevin will take on the 3 Seed, Christopher. The other matchup has the 5 Seed, Benjamin, facing me with the 4 Seed. Honestly, these matchups are great and I’m excited to see how they play out. Here’s how the scoring is going to work. You’ll bet on a certain amount of questions just like the regular season. However, the formula for overall rankings will have an impact on who advances. So, a combo of Total Earnings and W/L Record for each round will determine who moves forward to the next round. I’ll give you an example. Christopher goes 3-7 and wins $0.05. His Point Total comes out to 0.35. Kevin goes 5-5 but loses 0.20. His total ends at 0.30. Therefore, Christopher advances. It balances answering questions correctly along with actually being good at betting. If you need any further clarification, hit me up in the chat. The tournament will span over bowl season, and will conclude at the CFP Championship like last year. And yes there is a 3rd Place game. I might include a 5th Place game also. Now, to the good stuff. The prizes.
For 1st Place, the winner will receive a bottle of their choice from KOVAL, along with a custom t-shirt. 2nd Place will get nothing. That’s it. No other prizes. If you were lucky enough to get a prize during the regular season, then hold that tight cuz that’s all ya get.
The tournament questions will come out later this week so that everyone has more than enough time to digest the matchups and study up at a reasonable rate, what with it being a hectic time of year and all.
