Oct 8 Week 6 Results

So, thanks to my muscle relaxers basically eliminating my anxiety (and also showing me how bad it truly is lol) I am now on meds that are going to help me a lot. Sometimes you need a bump in the road - in this case my neck injury - to help you see a new path towards growth and prosperity. That’s what I’m taking from my experience. And that’s what I’m choosing to take from the Buckeyes’ first half against Maryland because good christ.

You live and learn.

That was maybe the worst and most infuriating quarter of Ohio State football I’ve ever watched in my life. Thankfully, the defense and MARV were there to keep the Buckeyes right until they made some good halftime adjustments. This team will either lose at least 2 games this year, or they’ll win it all. I don’t think there’s any in-between. That’s great for my heart. Awesome.

Michigan looks like the #1 team in the country against PUTRID opponents. But, they’re not playing lethargically or without urgency. So congrats guys, you scare me more than ever before.

GVSU EMBARRASSED Kentucky State 65-7. It was 44-7 at half. It was also Community Night where they preached unity, compassion, and respect and then did THAT on the field lol. What a world.

The Detroit Lions. THE DETROIT LIONS are 4-1 this year and 12-3 over their last 15 games! Think about that!! Have we ever been this good? 2011 was awesome but we didn’t look nearly as dominant. 1991? I wasn’t alive, but…Barry Sanders and Robert Porcher so idk. Regardless, OUR TIME IS NOW. IT’S HITSVILLE AGAIN BABY!!!

*Joe Flacco voice* PITTSBURGH?? But for real. Wtf guys?

There’s a new sheriff in town folks, and he has crippling self-doubt. But also shouldn’t.

Benjamin

His Wolverines D-E-S-T-R-O-Y-E-D their competition, and so did Benj. No one else was really close to him this week. At least someone from Michigan is #1 in something. Benj went 5-5 and won $1.19.

In 2nd is Kait! Maybe too distracted looking for deals at Abercrombie, but she still scored. Can SHE play QB for the Steelers? Kait went 4-6 and won $0.23.

In 3rd Jonathan! Much more concerned about flying to and from Columbus within a single day, Jonny was the last person to place his bets this week. I would say it showed, but he still got 3rd and still ended in the black. He went 3-7 and won $0.21 (there’s a “cash flow positive not including servicing debt” joke here maybe but I’m too dumb and too tired).

In 4th is Ethan! He got quite a few questions correct again this week, but enjoys lighting money on fire or something. Fall bonfires are nice. He went 4-6 and lost $0.08.

Also in 4th is Nick! At least this wedding was on a friday when your team had a bye (lmfao). Nick went 2-8 and lost $0.08.

In 6th is Guy Who Just Created A Fitness Page. Karma for creating a fitness page. I went 3-7 and lost $0.26.

In 7th is Christopher. Another BRUTAL week for Falcon Films. He must be absorbing the Falcons bad vibes, because wow what a nosedive. Christopher went 1-9 and lost $0.41.

In 8th is Kevin. He’s nothing if not consistent. And those are the friends you want. Reliable. But also, the only time Kevin didn’t place 8th, the Lions lost in terrible fashion. So, maybe he’s a good luck charm for them or something? Gives them his energy? IDK let’s not change it. I’m superstitious.

Week 7 brings us MSU again (darn) and Ohio State at Purdue for the first time since they were upset in 2018 (MEGA DARN). Everything else looks rather average! Wanna who’s not average? THE LIONS!!!
