Oct 12 Week 6 Results

Taking in a very deep, rewarding breath right now. I feel undisturbed, my thoughts tranquil.

Although I was eager to see how the Lions game ended, I am very happy that I missed it. My inconvenience turned to a blessing, and I can comfortably say that the universe was truly giving me a sign. When you ignore the Lions, your life is better.

Thanks to a refreshing weekend in Columbus, I am motivated to get us all together for another weekend this Fall. Watching a game at The Shoe for the first time in 2 full years was a fulfilling experience I didn’t know I needed. The best way to describe the feeling is like that first vacation beer on a sunny summer morning. The energy was right, and even though she protested, Bre is slowly becoming more of an Ohio State fan (she can replace the spot that Kait gave up). I am hopeful we can get back to The Shoe, but the next stop is The Big House.

As for the game itself, the Buckeyes made a delicious soup out of Testudo. Buckeyes back?

Michigan squeeeeeeeaked past an improving (??) Nebraska team. Scott Frost Day will be celebrated properly at some point.

MSU dominated a reeling Rutgers. KW3 dapped up one teammate on his 94-yard TD run but could have circled back and dapped up the whole sideline because that Rutgers defense was literally nowhere to be found.

CMU got spooked but made it out rather unscathed against the Ohio Bobcats. Sorry Mr. Bruewer.

Western 😖

I think GVSU heard me about Northwood because we WHOOPED that god-forsaken school. 70-9 with backups in for most of the game. 10 Touchdowns to their 3 Field Goals. We clearly use that DeVos money better.

Over the weekend we saw Alabama lose in shocking, and exhilarating fashion while also tumbling out of the #1 spot. Well, our Alabama did the same. Jonathan is out. We have a new #1.

He only needed 5 questions again this week. Nick hit the Big Huge and won $1.01! A gargantuan 2 day stretch. Now his bets are finally catching up to his meme quality.

In 2nd is Kevin! What a week for the CMU Boys. Kevin won $0.86, and got the Big Huge as well. He’s on fire lately. Perfect for his cigar habit.

In 3rd is Benj! He won $0.57, beat COVID, and is beating all our asses in the W/L category still. One lucky week and he’ll be above .500 on the year.

In 4th is Matthew! I won $0.52. But my biggest W was definitely grabbing the last Philanderous Fashion Item in my size. I own a horcrux now. Will it benefit me? So far so good, because I am the new #1 Overall.

In 5th is Sully! The Cleveland ‘Ccountant has risen once again. He won $0.08.

In 6th is Kait! Speaking of unfaithful, her new school lost and she lost $0.12. Karma.

In 7th is Christopher! He lost $0.16, but is holding strong in his Overall spot. He’d stand stronger if he had better protein powder too.

In Last Place is *extremely jubilant trumpets* Jonathan! Although Jonny had a great Homecoming weekend, he still lost $0.37, his 1st Place spot, and his coffee thermos. He now sits behind Me and Kait, respectively. HOWEVER, He only needs 0.01 to tie Kait for 2nd.
