WTS BETS Season /// TOURNAMENT
Merry Christmas everyone!
It has been a minute, but it is finally that time! Time to see who has that clutch factor. Who has that killer instinct? Which of us has the courage to stare Christopher in the face and say “I can beat you.” I mean probably most of us, but it was more hypothetical than anything.
What do we have in store this year?? Well I’ll tell you. All of our teams are in a bowl this year! That is honestly quite the accomplishment (looking at you MSU). Western respects our communities and plays in The First Responder Bowl. CMU got their asses HANDED to them in the New Mexico Bowl last week. But hey, at least you guys were there. Nice job. MSU plays in the Pinstripe Bowl, and from what I’ve seen from Lauren Dantonio on Instagram, it’s gonna be ugly. That field looks like WW1 France. Michigan doesn’t want Bama in the Citrus Bowl, and Bama doesn’t want to be there. Good Luck Jim. Here’s to 4 more years. And finally, YOUR OHIO STATE BUCKEYES face off against the very punchable Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff Semifinal. Rest easy Woody, we will have our revenge at some point.
TO THE TOURNAMENT
This year is a little more interesting because instead of 2 byes, we only have one! Jonny is the lucky winner there as he is once again, our regular season champ 😖. Whatever, I’m over it. Let’s talk matchups!
I am the 2 Seed and will face of against #7 Kevin! This will be quite the upset if he can pull it off, but I’ve seen worse things happen to me. Next is #3 Kait vs #6 Christopher. The reigning tournament champ against our player that can never actually have a bad week. Like water wrestling, this will be one difficult matchup. Up next is #4 Benjamin (highest he’s been ranked??) vs the faltering #5 Chris Sullivan. Chris has been posting more on social media lately, so I think he has his juice back. Watch out Benj. Whoever wins the 4v5 matchup will get the pleasure to take on our league’s Bigger Boot, Jonny. I can’t wait! The games for the tournament start on the 27th so let me know if you can work with that since it is Christmas time after all.
As for the prize, 1st Place will receive their choice of favorite alcohol with a price limit of $65 (@Kevin). However, we will all be winners in a week when our corrected shirts arrive!! I am very excited to give these to y’all. They look great.
