It’s homecoming for Grand Valley this weekend, and like clockwork I got a text from my friends in Detroit at the last moment saying that the tailgate was cancelled yet again this year. Can’t get hurt me if I have no expectations. I should use that with the Lakers because man……what was that last weekend. Are both of my teams destined to fold like an omelette in every big game they play now?? I want to be free of this pain.

Lions travel to Green Bay to scrape out a win against the Packers and Clete Blakeman. It’s not going to be easy, but unlike SOME teams, the Lions absolutely thrive off of adversity. And what’s more adversarial than having a bunch of human-cow hybrids that smell of cheese dump beer on you when you score every time?

Saints vs. Panthers

Charlotte is a very nice town. I would like to visit one day. They have a lot of nice restaurants, things to see, fun bars, and a vibrant community. Hopefully one day they’ll have a football team again too.
