Week 2 Results
Re-reading Matthew McConaughey’s Greenlights, and I’m finding that a lot of it is both captivating and a jumbled, confusing mess. We start in one spot, but then OH! Matthew’s got an idea and has to find himself in South America. But then WAIT! That didn’t quite do it, so let’s go traveling across America in a van!
Life lessons, bumper stickers, strange encounters.
Philosophical ramblings.
Losing yourself. Then finding a new self.
Where is the constant? What keeps the foundation intact?
What brings you back?
Back?
Back!
TEXAS!!!!!

Does ANYONE feel good about their teams after this weekend?? Maybe Benj feels good. But I would wager he feels more “fine” than “good”. Everyone else? Idk, man.
Wait sorry forgot about Kait and Penn State. I’m sure she’s feeling good.
Onto the games!
The Hamburglers DOMINATED UNLV 35-7 behind a great effort from JJ McCarthy and company. Run blocking on the menu any time soon?
Ohio State EKED past Youngstown State 35-7. Probably have a QB in McCord now, who looked good to finish up. Would also be nice to have an Offensive Line, and some Edge Rushers that actually cause pressure though. Is that too much to ask, Ryan?
MSU now have MUCH bigger concerns than how they played against Richmond. Spartans WILL…..not stay out of trouble come on guys please get it together.
Penn State did to Delaware what Joe Biden did to Anita Hill’s testimony against Clarence Thomas. The Blue Hens were torpedoed without an ounce of pity or remorse. James Franklin looking to make a leap forward??
CMU….yikes. Won by 3 against a FCS New Hampshire. I hope your heartburn is gone by now, Kevin.
Western went against the Juice. And we all know only bad things happen when the Juice and Broncos collide….
GVSU looks like a high school team. At least I get to watch their failures in HD instead of 240p this year. That’s where my donation money is going huh? Cool.
RESULTS
Just like Texas….that’s right.
Your Week 2 winner is:
Jonathan
I tried to make this week a little easier for everyone since our teams’ games were a bit boring. Unfortunately, the only one that really got that memo was Jonathan. He won A LOT this week. So much, that 2nd place is $0.81 behind him. Oh god, what horrors have I wrought? He went 5-5 and won $1.71.
In 2nd is Benj! Game Day/Pre-Game Brunch truly works for him. Two great weeks in a row. He went 3-7 and won $0.90.
In 3rd is Kait! Paying more attention to where she’s walking on the NYC sidewalk than to football is a winning strategy for her somehow. She went 4-6 and won $0.66.
In 4th is Christopher! Best week of the season so far right here! He only got 1 real question wrong this week. Unfortunately, the other one he missed on was the Big Huge and everyone ahead of him got it right. Chin up though big fella, you’re the only player with a .500 record or better right now! So clearly something is working. He went 8-2 and won $0.31.
🚨 WARNING! RICH ROD ZONE AHEAD!! PROCEED WITH CAUTION! 🚨
In 5th is Myself. At least I got more than ZERO questions correct this week. Barely. I went 3-7 and lost $0.04.
In 6th is Nick. Find the good. Find the good. Uh, the Lions? Yeah nice you got something there. He went 2-8 and lost $0.09.
In 7th is Kevin. He’s doing everything right expect the allocation of money so far. But I heard if you just keep throwing money at your problem, it always works. He went 4-6 and lost $0.13.
In 8th is Ethan. As a wise NASCAR driver once said, “If you ain’t first you’re last.” Well Ethan truly took that to heart. Last week 1st Place. This week Last Place. A philosophical icon. He went 3-7 and lost $0.23.

Next week we should actually have some more concrete answers for each of our teams! Can Ohio State stop a passing attack? Or have one of their own again? Can Penn State score against a decent defense? Can MSU do anything positive? Can Michigan win a game while coached by a 90 Year Old?
