It’s hilarious.

To see this league span the complete upheaval of the Big Ten. We started with only 1 player sulking after November. Now we only have 1 player happy at the conclusion of the season. Everyone needs their moment in the sun though right? The Hater in me says absolutely not. Fuck you I wanna win every time. But reality does not work that way. Not until Elon gives us a new one of course. So until then, congrats to Jim and his squad. They have toiled in the dark for a very long time to get where they are now. Of course, I do hope they slink back into their hovel with their stinky ass tails tucked squarely between their legs next year.

Outside of Saturday, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. I know at the Koval household, we had a wonderful time (minus the one terribly awkward Quiplash moment, KAIT). It was really nice being able to catch up with most of you, and to also spend way too much money at Horrocks just like old times. Also, (again outside of Saturday), this past weekend was a great way to sign off on Season 6! We had quite the competition this year. Honestly, it may be the most interesting and tumultuous it has been in a few seasons. Although last year rang in the first winner not named Jonny, I think this year was much more entertaining.

Wait hold on.

Jonny lost WTSB last year for the 1st time ever. Ohio State lost to Michigan for the 1st time in a decade.

Jonny lost WTSB this year, marking the first time he’s ever lost 2 in a row. Ohio State lost 2 in a row to Michigan for the first time since 2000.

I think I know what was keeping everything together. BRB calling Urban.

Thank you once again for putting up with me for the 5th straight Fall! I want to give a huge shoutout to our board for pitching in more than ever this year. Thank you Benj, Kait, and Nick. You guys were a great help when I took time off, and you added an appreciable amount of personality to our weekly posts. They were awesome, and very fun to read. When restructuring the board this summer, I will keep you all at the top of my list!

A story not dissimilar to our friend James J. Harbaugh, Kait has finally broken the shackles of 2nd Place, to claim her crown after many, many hard fought seasons. Of course, it wouldn’t be fun without some nerves, and Jonny had a chance to beat her on the very last week. But she got the Big Huge right (because they’re easy to her) to slam that door shut! No more 2nd Place jokes! Another meme dead. Added to our history books.

Also, I would be remiss to not mention her unprecedented performance this year. She is the first player EVER to finish the season this close to a .500 record! Can’t go all season without a little heartbreak though. She came into the final week 4 games above .500, and unfortunately ended the year with a W/L Record of 61-65-4 because the only question she got right was the Big Huge lol. BUT, here’s a silver lining! She also tied for 1st in Most Big Huge Wins this year with 5. Dominance!

In Second Overall, and in a major end-of-year shake up, is Nick!!! A great closeout week allowed Nick to jump past Jonathan in the standings by the slimmest of margins! Truly a chaotic upset.

In Third Overall is Jonny! An electric run to end the season falls just short. Very similar to his alma mater the past 2 years, Jonny isn’t doing poorly but we expect much more out of him. Anything but a championship is a disappointment. Time to stop rebuilding, it’s time to reload.

In Fourth Overall is your ever stalwart Commissioner! I had a rather steep decline from last year, as I won the title in Season 5. But I will attribute that to a hangover season. And you know I don’t handle hangovers well.

In Fifth Overall is Christopher! He might be disappointed due to the way he started this year, but he finished 2 spots better than his placement last year. In the MAC you gotta build slowly. It’s all a part of the plan. #FireLester worked, now go be great.

In Sixth Overall is Benjamin! Exact same finish as last year. Weird how these parallels keep forming. I’m sick of it. Good job though bro, two happy Novembers in a row!

In Seventh Overall is Kevin! He finished with the exact same record as Benjamin, but just bet worse. Very fitting indeed. Kevin might need to look at his staff over the offseason at this point. Time for change?

In Eighth Overall is Ethan! He’s just cutting his teeth with WTS Bets! He’ll learn to fly later next year. Glad he’s along for the ride with us.

In Ninth Place Overall is Sully. It’s been a pleasure.

Out with a bang!! Huge week for Nick. What a way to go into the offseason. They always say it’s great to go out with a W. Wish I still knew how that felt.

You may want to avert your eyes for the rest of the results because we had SIX players finish with 2 or fewer wins this week. Literally worst week on record. Man, we are just rewriting history left and right, huh? Look at us!
