I don’t think this weekend has ever been this nerve-wracking. Sure 2006 was scary and had stakes just as high, but I was a young, naïve boy. Ever confident that Ohio State would always win. But that boyish innocence is long gone. Anxiety and nerves flow like stuffing and cranberry sauce this weekend.

The 1 week season if finally upon us. After 365 days, Ohio State has a chance to get revenge on the Wolverines, and the Wolverines have a chance to flip this rivalry totally on its head. FOX. ESPN. Gus Johnson. Lee Corso. Winner take all. Gonna go puke brb.

At 4 o’clock, the illustrious trophy that transcends CFB is up for grabs. The High School procrastinator’s woodshop project known as The Land Grant Trophy!! *activate lasers* Who wants it less? Depending on when you read this, the Lions either won in a captivating, and shocking way. Or they continued the Thanksgiving tradition of trailing by 20 at half, thus letting us turn off the TV early. Give us an upset, I pray to you, Galloping Gobbler.
